Space…. The Final Frontier…

In this Intro to Astronomy Course, your student will learn about the birth of astronomy, planets, stars, and much more! As an Introductory level course, this will be a brief overview of the basics of Astronomy. Through this course, your student will watch videos, go through textbook work using Astronomy by OpenStax, work on group activities, and have group discussions! Not only will this course be a fun and exciting summer course, but it will also help prepare them for the full Astronomy course that will be offered in Spring 2024!

9 Week Course (Summer 2023) June 5th- August 7th

Science Course for High School Students

Class will meet in The Woodlands, TX on Wednesday from 10:30am-12pm

Cost- $400

Textbook Provided- Astronomy by OpenStax

Coursework will consist of video presentations, group activities and discussions, book work, and 1 project at the end of the course. There will be no homework during this SUMMER class! In order to ensure your students success in this course, classes will consist of numerous learning styles including hands on activities, group work, games, projects, and much more!

Lesson 8: Project Work Day

Lesson 9: Finish Projects and Present!
