About Course

This fun, interactive game-style course lets students simulate real life financial choices and real life budgets without the real-life impact or regrets.

 

This course is centered around the idea that real change happens through experience.  This class teaches the fundamentals of a financial literacy class and how to apply those fundamentals to their own budgets.

 

Your student will not just hear a series of lectures, but they will engage in the material by making personal budget choices in a way that leads to a heart change + wise decisions with their own money now and in the future.

 

1 elective credit for highschoolers or can be used as a math credit.

 

Meets for 14 weeks beginning Thursday September 7 through December 14; 9 – 10:30am.

Students will need to plan on 45 to 60 min of homework to prepare for class discussion.

 

Cost of class includes individual workbook for each student.

The curriculum is designed for middle school and high school students with a working knowledge of decimals, percentages and basic algebra.   An assessment to determine if your student is ready for the class can be provided upon request.
